1. About IPL

IPL 2020 is back after 480+ no of days. One of the biggest tournament held all over the world is back again! But this time IPL will be held in UAE and not in INDIA. And this is not the first time this had happened. Yes you heard it right ✔.

Before 2020, IPL was held outside india 2 times.

a) In 2009 i.e. Season 2 of IPL.

b) In 2014 i.e. Season 7 of IPL.

Reason: Due to the general elections in both the cases.

Venue: a) In 2009 - South Africa.

              b) In 2014 - (UAE) United Arab

                                    Emirates.

IPL will start from 19 Sept, 2020. And this time also the IPL wil be hosted in UAE, due to Covid pandemic. But will it be in closed door or open doors? The final news is yet to be decided but most likely to held in closed doors only.

2. Vivo out of IPL sponsorship

On August 6, 2020 i.e. Thursday “The BCCI and Vivo Mobile India Pvt. Ltd. have decided to suspend their partnership for the Indian Premier League in 2020", as per thehindu.com. As already mentioned the sponsorship is on hold only, but VIVO may come back in 2021-23 for the sponsorship.

What do you think is the sponsorship is on hold because of the Indo-China war? If this is the reason then Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) should permanently end the deal with VIVO as it is a chinese smartphone brand.

5. Is Dream 11 an Indian brand?

Yes! Dream 11 is an indian brand founded by Harsh jain & Bhavit sheth in 2008. It is having a 10 % stake of Chinese companies as per reports. Dream 11 always has been criticized due to the Chinese investors who had invested in that.

These companies had invested in Dream 11:

1. Tencent 10% stake, which is a Chinese company.

2. Steadview.

3. Think Investments.

4. Kalaari Capital and many more.

6. What would it mean for IPL after MS Dhoni's retirement?

The last match that MS Dhoni played was the semifinal match of World Cup 2019 held at England on 09/07/2019. From that day only every MS Dhoni's fan waited to see him again playing in blue jersy for India.

But several series got cancelled that supposed to be held in 2020 due to Covid pandemic and that moment took more time, but on 15th August 2020 exactly at 07:29pm he posted an instagram IGTV Video writing in caption that "Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout from 1929 hrs consider me as Retired".

In IPL 2020 this time IPL's hype is gonna be in a different way. Why is that? Because as MS Dhoni has taken the retirement, so no one knows what match will be his last one.

Maybe this is the last season he is playing or he may play for more seasons that no one knows except himself. By the way I am also his biggest fan. #MSDhoni❤.
